CedarRoot Village is a co-housing neighborhood of 40 to 45 market-rate private homes, thoughtfully designed using Universal Design principles. Most homes will be created for aging in place, with two- or three-bedroom layouts and en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom. Select homes will include a separate ADU. A range of housing options will be available to accommodate individuals that may need varying levels of support.
The 4,000+ square foot common house will sit at the heart of the neighborhood, serving as a shared second home for residents. It will be designed with a communal kitchen, gym, guest suites, children’s areas, meeting rooms, private quiet spaces, a media room, and multipurpose activity rooms — creating a vibrant hub for social, educational, and community gatherings.

In collaboration with established community partners the urban farm will provide our residents the opportunity to connect with the land and have access to healthy organic foods. Residents will be able to gather in the 10,000-square-foot Amish barn for a variety of communal activities including, farm dinners, celebrations, and art enrichment. As stewards of this land, we are preserving more than 10 acres of open space. Here, residents and visitors can learn to plant, grow, and harvest farm products.
